Project Manager
We’re on the hunt for a detail oriented, super-organized, multi-tasking machine that can facilitate print and web projects from start to finish. Candidates should have 2+ years experience as a PM in a marketing-related company. Experience with print design is required. A strong knowledge of interactive design and development is necessary, as is the ability to develop the information architecture/user experience for web projects. The PM’s goal should be to plan, execute and deliver projects that meet the budget and timeline and exceed the client’s expectations.
Responsibilities
• Define project scope, timeline, roles and responsibilities
• Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents
• Develop the architecture outline for printed pieces (pagination)
• Develop the information architecture for web projects (sitemaps and wireframes)
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
• Estimate the time, resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
• Work with printers, photographers and other contractors as necessary
• Identify and resolve any issues and conflicts within the project team
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devise contingency plans
• Motivate and supervise project team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
• Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
• Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management
Position Requirements
• University degree or college diploma
• 2-3 years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution
• Familiar with project management software (Basecamp experience a plus)
• Experience in managing print projects
• Experience in working directly w/print vendors
• Familiar with interactive design and development
• Solid working knowledge of current Internet technologies, including content management systems, SEO/SEM, social media, e-commerce, e-mail marketing, etc.
• Proficient with Macs and Adobe Creative Suite. OmniGraffle experience a plus.
• Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently
• Flexible during times of change
• Ability to read communication styles of team members
• Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management and clients
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating
• Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies

Senior Web Designer
Jackrabbit is looking for a dedicated, experienced web designer with the portfolio to prove it. This position demands that the web is not only a job, but a passion. The ideal candidate is always looking to develop their abilities, and push their team to do the same. Possesses a deep understanding of web best practices and a finger on the pulse of interactive design trends. They have a knack for slick user interfaces and a great feel for user experience strategies. They must be creative, and versatile enough to adapt to meet the end-user needs of various industries, on a variety of devices. In this role the eye of the tiger is as important as your eye for detail.

Creative Web Designer/Developer
Jackrabbit is in the market for that rare breed of creative and web-savvy individual. We need an all-around Creative Web Developer to join us at our headquarters in Milton, MA - a standards compliant craftsman with proven experience in all areas of the development process. Adept at crafting creative concepts, developing intuitive UIs, utilizing open source technologies, a crafty problem solver… and a passion for the details.
Is this your gig?
- Expert craftsman of HTML5/CSS3
- Willingness to IM a co-worker sitting less than 10 feet away
- Strong background deploying and configuring JavaScript Libraries (eg: jquery, etc.)
- Efficient in open source technologies (eg: Linux, PHP & MySQL)
- Willingness to work in an office with heated floors
- Experience with Microsoft technologies such as ASP.NET and SQL 2000/2005 a plus
- Proven capability with CMS solutions (eg: Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla, Expression Engine, etc.)
- Exposure to Adobe Flash/ActionScript; or AJAX implementations is also desired and a plus!
- Experience with web 2.0 technologies and trends: RSS, Social Media, Blogs, etc.
- Understanding of SEO strategies a plus
- Affinity for chocolate chip cookies (baked in our state of the art kitchen)
