With a 120-year history and a local feel, The Cooperative Bank (TCB) stands apart from larger, more corporate banks whose products and services feel less and less personalized. With sophisticated online and mobile banking services, TCB has its feet firmly planted in the 21st century, but they still believe in the power of lifetime relationships and old-fashioned service. Jackrabbit was excited to breathe some fresh life into TCB’s visual identity to communicate how they stand apart.
TCB has had a myriad of changes made to its brand over the years. Jackrabbit created an all-encompassing brand guide and solved how the brand would be translated into marketing collateral.
Jackrabbit redesigned various marketing collateral — from stationery and PowerPoint templates to employee engagement collateral and in-branch signage. Using their bright brand colors and engaging photographic style, we designed a series of service brochures to support TCB’s product and service strategy. When COVID-19 drove Boston-area businesses to shut down, Jackrabbit was quick to support and design a variety of internal and external branch signage.
While Jackrabbit worked to infuse the new TCB brand look and feel in print and digital media, TCB recognized the importance of carrying these same principles to their website. As a local bank that is built on relationships, TCB needed a website that puts their customers front and center, offers an experience that is modern and user-friendly, and most importantly — embodies the spirit of community banking.

Over the course of our relationship with TCB, we’ve worked closely with their AVP of Marketing to design and launch various advertising campaigns — from the launch of their new branch in Jamaica Plain to the launch of their new website. TCB’s advertising spanned from billboards, newspapers, digital, and out-of-home.
Direct Marketing Design
As an extension of our strategy to root TCB’s brand in relationships, Jackrabbit created a series of personalized direct marketing pieces that featured their lending officers. These direct mailers, in particular, empowered TCB’s lending team as they are out in the field and helped to facilitate meaningful connections with customers.
Social Media Content Creation
Jackrabbit designed an entirely new social media system, which included a series of standard post templates for The Cooperative Bank’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn accounts. Jackrabbit provides TCB with ongoing social media support, including content creation, copywriting, design, and maintenance.
